Technically hummus, but we don’t HAVE to tell the kids! 😉😂
Looking for a sweet snack that’s secretly healthy? Meet Brownie Batter Hummus—the dessert dip that’s so good, your kids will be diving in for seconds. But here’s the catch: the base of this rich, chocolatey goodness is… black beans. Yep, you heard that right! Before you tell the little ones what’s really in it, let them have a bite. Watch their eyes widen as they devour it, wondering how you’ve magically turned healthy ingredients into a brownie-flavored dream. Then, after they’ve happily cleaned the bowl, casually drop the bomb—”Oh, it’s made with black beans!” (Cue the “Wait, what?!” moment.)
Trust me, they’ll be too busy licking the bowl to care about the beans! So go ahead, enjoy this sneaky little treat. It’s the ultimate way to satisfy your chocolate cravings while keeping things clean. No one needs to know how nutritious it is… yet!

Ingredients

Instructions
- Drain and rinse the beans really well. I like to keep rinsing until the water run clear. Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor except the milk.
- Blend 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth. If it’s too thick, add in the milk, otherwise, leave it out.
- If you are adding chocolate chips, you can fold them in now (You just fold it in David!…Schitt’s Creek fan will appreciate this, others may think I’m losing it😂). If you have time, pop it in the fridge to allow the flavors to blend together, but sometimes we break this rule and just dive in! 😉 Serve with whatever your heart desires…..strawberries, apple slices, on a slice of toast or we love these organic pretzel thins also found at Kroger and Costco!
