Making your own homemade ranch seasoning is SO simple! Not only does it taste way better, but you also get to skip all the junk and keep it fresh, simple, and natural. Plus, it’s so easy to whip up, you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner.
The beauty of homemade ranch seasoning is that you control what goes in. No more ingredients – just the stuff you already have in your pantry. You can even adjust the amounts to suit your taste, whether you like it extra garlicky or a little more herby. You can use it for pretty much anything! Toss it on some roasted veggies, mix it into your mashed potatoes, sprinkle it over popcorn, or even use it as a seasoning for meats. The possibilities are endless.
It’s so much fresher and brighter than the stuff you buy in a packet. No more weird aftertaste or feeling like you’re eating a bunch of preservatives with your dip. Plus, if you’re making it at home, you know exactly what’s going into it. No hidden MSG, no artificial colorings, just pure, natural flavor that’ll make your taste buds do a little happy dance.
This works great to whip up the avocado ranch for the Southwest Egg Rolls Better Than Chili’s: A Healthy Copycat. I also like to add a little to the The Dill-ightful Grilled Cheese Pickle Sandwich…..yum!
Directions
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a container. I like to use a small mason jar with reusable lids. Then I write the recipe on the lid so I can easily reload it when it’s empty! This should be good for up to a year!
- We like to sprinkle on veggies and popcorn, season chickened so much more!
For dressings and dips:
Dip: 1 teaspoon with ½ cup of sour cream or greek yogurt
Dressing: 3 teaspoons with ¼ cup mayo or yogurt, ¼ cup buttermilk or sour cream, a squeeze of lemon juice or vinegar, you can add milk for a thinner dressing if needed
